Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a
* small stream flood advisory for...
  west central Pima County in south central Arizona...
* until 930 PM MST
* at 335 PM MST National Weather Service radar indicated that from 
1.00 to 2.00 inches of rainfall has occurred over the past hour in  
an area between Ajo...Hickiwan and GU Vo. The heaviest rainfall has 
occurred along Highway 85 between Ajo and the Maricopa County line.
Area washes and low water crossings will have significant flows of 
water.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
Do not underestimate the power of flood waters. Only a few inches of
rapidly flowing water can quickly carry away your vehicle.
